Dear TIME 2000 Students, The How To Make Math Count Conference is a mathematics education conference for teachers of grade K-8. It is an optional conference ( i.e., not required); you are welcome to attend and TIME 2000 will pay your registration fee. Please note that is at Molloy College in Rockville Centre and you must provide your own transportation. It is in January, during QC's winter break so you should not have classes here unless you are taking Winter Session classes. In order for TIME 2000 to pay your registration fee, follow the instructions below. Do NOT pay by credit card. This year we are thrilled to have leading Canadian mathematics educator Dr. Marian Small delivering the keynote address, entitled "What Should Math Instruction Look Like in 2018?" In addition to being a classroom teacher and professor for over 30 years, Dr. Small was a Dean of Education at the University of New Brunswick. She is actively involved in the development of curriculum and text materials and has authored over 100 publications including professional resources for teachers.
