SENT ON BEHALF OF DR. LIMARYS CARABALLO SECONDARY EDUCATION AND YOUTH SERVICES Dear Colleagues, CERRU's applications for next year's fellowships are now open! Please share with your students. The first fellowship, Undoing Bias Fellowship (formerly Dialogue) is a year-long workshop series which has three primary objectives: 1) To teach students about the history of systems of bias (racial, gender, class, nationality) which help make the United States the financial powerhouse it is today 2) To introduce students to information on how to interrogate their own bias as it relates to the systems of oppression that persist and 3) To provide students with language to confront bias and microaggressions in personal and professional spaces. Application Due: April 28th The second fellowship, Social Organizing Fellowship (formerly Social Change) works with groups of students to develop projects that promote change for the campus or larger community. Application Due: May 5th I have attached both applications which provide more information. For those interested, we will have a short information session on April 19th at 12:15pm in Powdermaker 108.
