Celebrate Pi Day with Free Play! From 4:00 to 6:00 pm today, March 14, admission to MoMath will be free for all visitors. Enjoy all your favorite exhibits — and if you have friends who have never been to the Museum, there’s no better time to bring them along.

3/15: LIMACON
See you tomorrow at LIMACON! When you arrive, check in at the registration table, then visit the math textbook vendors or have bagels and coffee. When you enter the auditorium for the keynote address, please look for Dr. Artzt near the front of the auditorium (at the end seat of one the first 10 rows). We try to sit all together in two rows near the front. When you get a seat near us, please try to save seats for the rest of TIME 2000. If you get to the front before Dr. Artzt or me, please start saving the rows.

2) If you are delayed or have an emergency, or decide not to take the bus, please call Daniel at (516) 444-8679 or Catherine at (718) 216-1342. Please call as early as possible so we do not hold the bus unnecessarily and cause us all to be late.
3) After the last LIMACON workshop, we will meet at the bus, probably at the same place where the bus dropped us off. The bus driver will tell us where to meet when we get there. Please call us if you cannot find the bus or if you decide not to return on the bus!
*Note: The side gate to enter campus at Melbourne and 150th St. is closed to vehicles but open to walkers. Campus is open on Friday.

My name is Nicole Wells and I am contacting you from CUNY Tutor Corps. You have previously written a reference for a student to our program, and I would like to ask whether you are able to refer any other students to become a tutor.
CUNY Tutor Corps brings current CUNY students who are studying math, computer science, technology and education into NYC public middle and high schools to provide one-on-one and small group instruction and support classroom teachers. For the summer, we are hiring tutors to work in one of two programs: STEM enrichment (similar to a summer camp), and ESY (Extended School Year) with students who have special needs. We pay $17/hour for 19 hours per week, from July to mid-August.
