C. Journal Assignment
The following assignment is required for all freshmen (but all students are welcome to respond) and is due on September 22, 2015. Journals should be submitted via e-mail to both Dr. Artzt (qcartzt(a)gmail.com<mailto:qcartzt@gmail.com>) and Mrs. Weinman (Naomi.Weinman(a)qc.cuny.edu<mailto:Naomi.Weinman@qc.cuny.edu>). Please type your journal in the body of the email; do not send as an attachment.
Journal Assignment: The Fall 2015 semester is now well under way. We are interested in getting your feedback on several issues. Please respond to the following in as detailed and honest a manner as possible.
1. What is your name?
2. Describe your experiences thus far.
a) Include a description of the courses you are taking and your feelings about those courses (both TIME 2000 and non-TIME 2000 courses).
b) Include a description of your life outside of classes (e.g., have you joined any clubs? Are you working? If so, how has that affected you schoolwork? Do you take classes with other TIME 2000 students? Do you socialize with other TIME 2000 students?)
c) What are you first impressions of TIME 2000 and Queens College?
3. We hope you enjoyed today's seminar. Who did you get to know today whom you never met before? What do you know about them? What did you learn from the experience?
4. Describe any other thoughts and feelings you would like to share about the TIME 2000 program that you did not mention above. What things would you like us to be sure to do this year? Please let us know any questions or concerns you may have.
