CUNY's NYC Men Teach is an initiative open to all academically qualified male students interested in teaching in the New York City public schools--though recruitment will target underrepresented groups, especially African American, Latino, and Asian males. In collaboration with program coordinators and advisors, the program will focus on academically supporting and recruiting students into teacher education programs. Participating students will receive intensive advisement, academic support, and some financial assistance to ensure they graduate, get certified, and become New York City teachers.
