Blackboard Workshop Series: Discussion Board, Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013
This fall the Center for Teaching and Learning is offering a series of hands-on workshops on key features in Blackboard. The first session is on Discussion Boards, a tool to stimulate student collaboration, reflection, and communication. Date: Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 Time: 3:30 pm-5:30 pm Location: Razran Hall, Room 360 Coffee and beverages will be served. Future workshops in this series: Oct. 23: Early Warning System: Learn how to anticipate problems with academically at-risk students using this Blackboard tool. Nov. 13: Blackboard Collaborate: Learn how to use this tool for lecture capture. Dec. 18: Adaptive Release: Learn about Blackboard's Adaptive Release functionality and brainstorm about how to apply it effectively.
