The workshop included comprehensive presentations and discussions on implementing UDL strategies<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://udlguidelines.cast.org/__;!!E8lrGBvW!sFN... > in the classroom, with an emphasis on considerations of inclusivity while designing Brightspace courses and coursework. Participating faculty were able to collaborate and design content for their Brightspace courses, construct/revise their syllabi, and create welcome videos for their students. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Sally Izquierdo (Director, Applied Behavior Analysis Graduate Programs, Department of Psychology), Jean Kelly (Instructional Technologist, CETLL), Elena Sigman (Director of Learning & Development, CETLL), and Wayguard Wong (Brightspace Administrator, CETLL) with presentations from Faculty Ambassadors Desiree Byrd, Ph.D. (Department of Psychology) and Melissa Lovitz, Ph.D. (Department of Family, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences).
