TOMORROW Workshop: Reconsidering the Life of Used Objects Wednesday, November 29; 1:30-2:30pm Queens Hall 330F Kat Roberts (MALS candidate, CUNY Graduate Center; Lecturer, City Tech) leads a free, hands-on workshop in sustainable practice and creative upcycling, focusing on the reuse of denim. NEXT WEEK Misperceptions: A Conversation about Women and Technology with Debera Johnson, Pratt/Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator (BF+DA) Monday, December 4; 1:30-2:30pm Queens College Art Center, Rosenthal Library Level 6 Debera Johnson discusses her role as founder of the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator (BF+DA) at Pratt Institute, highlighting common misperceptions that continue to surround the relationship between women and technology.
