Ballet II Dance 261 - 2 credits Prof. Carlos Fittante Tues/Thurs 12:15 - 1:30 An advanced/beginner to intermediate level ballet class that emphasizes alignment, ease of movement and musicality. Barre and center work will progress in difficulty over the course of the semester. Tap II Dance 268 - 2 credits Prof. Marshall Davis Tues/Thurs 1:40 - 2:55 An intermediate course in rhythm tap, with emphasis on technique, musicality and style. Students are introduced to phrasing and counting bars. Yoga Dance 396: Special Topics 2 credits Prof. Riham Farid Tues/Thurs 3:10 - 4:25 In this fast paced time we are rarely given the opportunity to look within and become explorers in the greatest uncharted territory there is - the self. Through yoga you will engage in a physical practice that activates and challenges the mind body and soul. Baroque Dance Dance 397: Special Topics 3 credits Prof. Carlos Fittante Tues/Thurs 1:40 - 2:55 This introductory movement course offers an oveview of the dance and culture from Baroque and Rococo periods, 1650 -1800. It is an excellent supplement for historical studies in any discipline.
