Conference on teaching heritage language learners
Dear colleagues: The new director of the Queens Consortium on Languages Other than English, Beatriz Peña, is organizing a conference that will likely be of interest to those of you who teach languages other than English to heritage speakers. The conference, featuring keynote speaker Sandra Schreffler from Roger Williams University, will be held at Queens College on May 4, 2012. There is a call for proposals for presentations at the conference on a range of related topics. The deadline for submitting a proposal is February 15, 2012.
