This fall, the Center for Teaching & Learning is introducing the CTL Faculty Seminar Series, beginning on October 22 with "Standards-Based Grading," a presentation by Dr. Christopher Hanusa, Associate Professor from the Department of Mathematics. Dr. Hanusa uses an innovative grading system called Standards-Based Grading which focuses on student learning and grades based on demonstration of understanding specific concepts.
