Free Oral History Training Workshop!
Hello everyone! This Saturday (December 9), Queens Memory will hold a free oral history training workshop at the Sunnyside Library<http://www.queenslibrary.org/event/oral-history-workshop-at-the-sunnyside-library>, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. The workshop, led by QM director Natalie Milbrodt, will cover such topics as interviewing techniques, recording technology and the creation of timecode outlines, and will offer some time to practice your skills. It is free and open to the public, and would be especially useful for students and faculty interested in working on an oral history project. See our Facebook event<https://www.facebook.com/events/2119857528339361/> or email me (Lori.Wallach@qc.cuny.edu) for further information. We'd love to see you there! Thanks!
