The Experiential Education Council in the Office of the Provost is requesting proposals from full-time faculty for existing or new courses that will engage students in experiential learning. Proposals will be considered for new courses, but priority will be given to existing courses and teaching units within existing courses at any level, including MA courses, that can be used to incorporate experiential learning into regularly offered courses across the divisions at Queens College. Awardees will receive a $1000 stipend to participate in a three day workshop in early June, 2012 dedicated to making experiential education an integral part of the Queens College curriculum. Tentative dates set for the workshop are June 4th, 5th, and 6th. Proposals are due on March 23, 2012.
