The Center for Teaching & Learning is happy to present you with another opportunity to engage with your fellow faculty about scholarship and teaching. The Fall CTL Seminar Series continues on December 3 with “How to support students interested in graduate and professional schools,” a presentation by Mika Vesanen from the Biology Department and Director of the Medical Career Preparation Certificate program. For many years, Dr. Vesanen has worked with students interested in attending an array of graduate and professional schools. He will discuss how to help students be ready to apply for these programs by teaching students to build relationships with faculty and how faculty can craft letters of support. Come for the talk; stay for tea and conversation.
