The Center for Teaching & Learning is happy to present you with an opportunity to engage with your fellow faculty about scholarship and teaching. The Fall CTL Seminar Series continues on November 12 with "Improving Student Learning through Simple Tested Interventions," a presentation by Jennifer Valad and the HSI-STEM team. The HSI-STEM team has been working with faculty at Queens College and Queensborough Community College on how to develop small changes to their teaching that result in significant improvements in student learning. The team will present some of the teaching practice along with how and why they improve student learning. Come for the talk; stay for tea and conversation.
