Due to class cancellations, the opening of Latin American and Latino American and Latino Studies' latest exhibition,
Death Cycles - Dia de los Muertos
is postponed to Thursday, November 8. For those members of the Queens College community who would like to participate in the altar-building ritual, please bring your contributions on November 8 between the hours of 12 noon and 5PM to Latin
American and Latino Studies, Kissena Hall, room 307. Offerings can be small photographs (no larger than 4x6") or objects in remembrance of the departed, flowers (white, yellow, orange, gold, red) and/or favorite food or drink of the deceased to share in a
feast with the living.
We
hope you can join us in this celebration of life, death and rebirth.
