Dear Colleagues, The Queens College Writing Center invites you to a panel on Generative AI & its intersections with writing and student support. Please spread the word about this event—Thursday, May 8th from 2pm-4pm in Rosenthal 230—which will speak to faculty, administrators, and students alike. You can RSVP here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScECmo0fgn3AbvNCDwgSyVhA9gMH2CL9l8lVh8ntXd_c6i8dw/viewform?usp=sharing>. Writing and academic work produced with GenAI tools, such as ChatGPT, is a phenomenon impacting everyone across higher education. As such, four QCWC graduate and undergraduate tutor panelists will reflect on how they’ve encountered GenAI in the writing center; Annalee Roustio, QCWC Coordinator and Generative AI in the Classroom Faculty Fellow through CETLL, will moderate. We have attached a digital flyer to this email. Hope to see you all there!
