The CUNY Innovative Teaching Academy (CITA) is proud to announce its second CUNY-wide Teaching and Learning Conference designed to support, elevate, and recognize faculty teaching excellence. The Conference will be held on April 3, 2025 (virtually) and April 4, 2025 (in person) at the CUNY Graduate Center.
This year we have expanded our program to incorporate more sessions across two days, one virtual and one in-person. If you are interested in presenting at this year’s conference, please submit your conference session proposal by Friday, November 15, 2025. Please refer to the Call for Proposals for any additional information.
Please note that to complete the proposal form, you will need to log in with your Office365 username and password (i.e. username: Jane.Doe20@login.cuny.edu, password: your CUNYfirst password).
Topics should align with at least one of our conference goals:
Session Format:
Proposed sessions can fall under the following categories: Panel with Multiple Presenters (60 mins), Interactive Talk (10-15 min), Hands-On Workshop Facilitation (30-45 min), and In-Person Poster (30 min). We encourage presenters to select a format which will
allow them to deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
Session Selection Criteria:
The CUNY Teaching & Learning Conference Team and Advisory Board will review all proposals in detail to determine which will be selected for the conference. More information can be found in the
FAQ.
Acceptances will be announced by the week of February 3, 2025.
Please email CUNYTLConference@cuny.edu with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your participation.
Best,
CUNY Teaching & Learning Conference Implementation Team
