Ideal for Education Majors, Literary Scholars or students interested in interdisciplinary connections, this course will explore the intersections of French Fairy Tales, Italian Operas, German Composers, Greek Myths and much more. Incorporating pop culture manifestations as well as music from all historical periods, students will develop listening skills, writing skills, and will have creative performance opportunities as they build a stronger foundation of cultural references from the canon of Western European music and literature.
