Apply for a Study Abroad Scholarship
The deadline for student STOCS applications is March 19, 2012.
The STOCS (Study/Travel Opportunities for CUNY Students) student application and list of eligible study abroad programs for Summer 2012 is now available. The student application and program list are available at the following website:
CUNY colleges are offering a wide selection of STOCS-eligible programs this summer, which are open to students throughout the system. This summer, 62 programs will be offered in 28 countries around the world. Among these offerings are new programs in Belgium (CSI), Indonesia (John Jay), and Moldova (York), to name just a few. STOCS awards, which are competitive, will range from $1,000 – $1,650. Student eligibility requirements are listed on the first page of the application and students are limited to participation in one of the approved CUNY programs.
(All applications must be received or post-marked by that date.) Applicants must also file the 2012-13 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 15, 2012 for financial eligibility verification. Applicants will be notified of award decisions via email during the week of April 23, 2012.
