Date: Thursday, March 30, 2017 Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 pm (Lunch will be provided) Location: Queens College, President¹s Conference Room #2, Rosenthal Library Dr. Amy Werbel is Associate Professor of the History of Art at the State University of New York  Fashion Institute of Technology. At F.I.T., she teaches diverse courses on the history of American art and the contemporary art scene. In 2011-12, she served as a Fulbright Scholar in China; from 2013 to 2016 she served as a reviewer for the Fulbright Scholar Program; and this year, she has been chosen as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Alumni Ambassador: http://www.cies.org/alumni-ambassadors/amy-werbel. Dr. Nur Uddin Ahamad is an Associate Professor in the Chemistry Department at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, Bangladesh. He is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Johns Hopkins University in the Chemistry Department http://www.cies.org/grantee/nur-uddin-ahamad. As a postdoctoral researcher in the Fairbrother Research Group, his current project is Exploring the Effect of Functionalization Strategies on the Flame Retardant Carbon Nanotube - Polymer Composites.
