Do you know a student that is committed to service? If so, we would like to share with you The Linakis Leaders Scholarship. This opportunity is directed towards undergraduate and graduate students from all majors who demonstrate an outstanding record of both service, academic performance as well as financial need. Scholarship awards will each be in the amount of $1000 and recipients will be recognized College wide for their achievements.

The application deadline is Thusday, April 26th, 2012.

The late John S. and Yorka C. Linakis were long-time residents and avid supporters of the borough of Queens. They were active in a multitude of community, civic, and interfaith organizations. Their philanthropic endeavors include a legacy of scholarships to be granted to worthy Queens College students based on merit, financial need and a keen interest in the betterment of their communities.

Undergraduate and graduate students from all majors are invited to apply. Scholarship applicants must demonstrate an outstanding record of both service and academic performance as well as financial need. Scholarship awards will each be in the amount of $1000 and recipients will be recognized College wide for their achievements.
