Subject: The Stewart Travel Awards and the Feliks Gross Endowment Award

 

The CUNY Academy's William Stewart Travel Awards provide grants of up to $500 to full-time assistant professors who first took up the position of CUNY assistant professor after July 2012. The award is for presenting, chairing or moderating at a scholarly conference from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. Please go here for more details . Early applications get preference.

The CUNY Academy's Feliks Gross Endowment Awards  are presented each year to assistant professors in recognition of outstanding research, or potential for such, in the humanities or sciences, including social and life sciences. Any faculty member who is an assistant professor at any unit of CUNY and whose field of expertise covers an area of the humanities or sciences is eligible to be considered for one of these awards. Recipients who present their work at the ceremony receive an honorarium and a plaque. Please
