Dear colleagues: Registration is now open for a workshop on teaching online, scheduled for January 7 to 21 (2013), offered by the CUNY School of Professional Studies and sponsored by the CUNY Office of Academic Affairs. This workshop, taught entirely online, offers foundational training for faculty who will be teaching an online or hybrid class. Your commitment to teach an online or hybrid course must be firm, and must be approved by your departmental chair. Compensation (if you complete the workshop and are scheduled to teach an online or hybrid course) is for 10 hours at your non-teaching adjunct rate (with a maximum total of $550).
