Topic: Technology and Healthcare Industry Date: Wednesday, October 16 Time: 12:00pm to 1:30pm Location: Science Building, SB C203 Speaker: Keith Furst, Managing Director, Financial Crimes Technology, Co-author of new book AI Supremacy Description: There are a number of critical healthcare challenges we face as a species such as access to clean water, antibiotic resistant bacteria, genetic diseases, and aging populations. Healthcare is one of the hottest spaces in artificial intelligence (AI) today in terms of number of closed deals and dollars invested. The human body is incredibly complex and information rich and AI is helping sift through these massive data sets to create real solutions to address unusual diseases, detect health issues earlier and improve overall quality of life.
