I hope you’re doing well! I’m writing as the Scholarships and Fellowships advisor on campus – promoting national and prestigious scholarships and fellowships on campus and supporting our students in applying - I've attached our October Monthly.
The Honors and Scholarships Office is currently promoting the Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship. An amazing opportunity for freshmen and sophomores, that I’ve detailed at the end of the email. Students who are interested should attend the information session, and ultimately apply through me (reaching out to rebecca.baron@qc.cuny.edu)

Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship Description:  
The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship is a three-year program that provides unprecedented opportunities to remarkable students to further their personal, professional, and cultural potential including paid summer internships and other unique professional experiences in NYC, the U.S. and abroad, and a Discovery Fund for self-designed experiences.   
To learn more about the fellowship, students can click this link to register for a special info session scheduled to be in person on Monday, November 10th , 12:15pm-1:30pm - Rosenthal Library 230 (basement level.)   
The Watson Fellowship provides the following:  
-Three summer professional experiences (e.g., internships or projects) in the U.S. and abroad with top organizations. 
-Annual funding over three years of $7,500, $9,000 and $10,000  
-A $2,000 Discovery Fund for further professional development exploration  
-Guided mentorship by experienced staff  
-A Watson cohort of close-knit peers    
-A series of unique cultural events   
-A series of seminars that builds skills and complements your fellowship experience  
The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship is open to current freshmen and sophomores.
