On behalf of the Queens College Libraries Hello Colleagues! There’s still time to register for the CUE Conference/OER Showcase on Thursday and Friday this week! Please share this invitation with anyone who may be interested. Over the last 3 years, CUNY has developed a national and international reputation in the field of Open Education Resources (OER). Faculty, staff, and students at CUNY are helping to push forward open educational practices and leading the charge to revolutionize undergraduate education. In order to highlight this important work, the Office of Undergraduate Studies and the Office of Library Services are joining forces to co-host the 2020 CUE Conference and the CUNY OER Showcase. ***“OER to Open Pedagogy: Teaching and Learning Empowered"*** will be held virtually on October 29th and 30th. Girls Who Code Club Fall Virtual Program (for grils in 6th to 12th grade)

Hello: The Tech Incubator at Queens Colelge (TIQC) is offering the Girls Who Code Club Virtual Program again this fall. If you know a girl who is currently in 6th to 12th grade, is interested in learning and practicing coding skills, or interested in exploring careers related to computer programming and STEM in general, you may want to recommend this program to her The girls will be learning coding skills and apply what they learn to build a project of their own choice.
