[SADivision 0167] Finalists for Provost Position to Visit Campus
VP Rockman strongly recommend all Student Affairs staff who are able attend the Open Forum for each Provost Candidate. As the chief academic officer of the college, the new Provost will be in a position to support and create programs and services that directly benefit our students and assist Student Affairs staff in doing our work. I look forward to seeing you there. Thank you. Having trouble viewing this email? From President Félix V. Matos Rodríguez:
As you know, the college is in the midst of the search process to appoint a provost and vice president for academic affairs. In the next few weeks, three finalists will visit campus. The day-long visits are scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, Tuesday, March 24, and Thursday, March 26. Candidates will have the opportunity to talk with and answer questions from various constituents of the college community. This will be also an opportunity to showcase our work at Queens College. I know we all understand how crucial the position of provost is for our future work here at Queens College. Please plan on attending the Faculty Forum (open to all faculty, including adjuncts) from 4-4:35 pm, and the Open Forum (open to all students, staff, alumni, and faculty) from 4:45-5:35 pm. Early next week, please be on the lookout for an email announcing the names and background of the finalists as well as more details about the search process. I take this opportunity to thank the members of the Search Committee for their diligent work. [City University of New York logo] This mail was sent by an automated process.
