Dear Colleagues, The CUNY Service Corps application for the 2015-2016 academic year is now open. Our goal is to receive 300 student applications from Queens College students. Please share the attached flyer and the body of the text at the end of this email with students. If you have advise student groups, we can do group presentations. CUNY Service Corps is a great opportunity for students seeking work experience, service learning projects, civic engagement experiences, or a service project that they can apply towards receiving internship credit. The program is open to all majors, undergraduates and graduates. Help us select next year's cohort by joining us as an application reader or group interview facilitator or observer. Please let me know if you can do either or both. The reading load is manageable, only 20 applications to read, each application is three short paragraphs about civic engagement and service and a brief personal statement. The training dates for application readers are: * Tues, Feb 10, 10:00am - 12:00pm * Fri, Feb 20, 2:00pm - 4:00pm Register for the date and time that works best for you: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/rt/5730883666738239233 Thank you all for your support and collaboration!
