[SADivision 0225] NASPA Scholarship for graduate, undergraduate student and new professionals
2016 REGION II CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION Application Deadline: May 17, 2016 Region II will be able to support a graduate, undergraduate student or a new professional to participate in this year's conference by funding the cost of the conference registration. If selected, you will be required to fund your travel, meals and lodging. The scholarship only covers the registration fee. All applicants must be a current graduate, undergraduate, or new professional (currently employed and in the profession no more than 3 years.) Eligibility is limited to applicants who are not being funded by a college or university to attend the Regional Conference. The selected candidate will be asked to sign off on this criterion at a later date. Requirements: If selected, you would be required to: During Conference: * Volunteer at least one hour during the Conference. * Attend at least two conference educational sessions, as well as the featured speaker and welcome reception. After Conference: * Write an essay, create a video, or provide some other method of reflecting on your conference experience, including a description of how well conference attendance goals were achieved, what was learned from volunteer experience, how commitment to field was bolstered, and how conference educational sessions addressed the achievement of learning outcomes. NASPA Region II may utilize this in future years to promote our scholarship program.
