I often hear faculty and staff comment that we should do more to recognize the hard work, dedication, and commitment our students demonstrate; this couldn’t be more accurate at this difficult time of distance learning.  If you have had the same thought, please consider nominating students for the 2020 Student Affairs Leadership Awards: Burton L. Backner Student Affairs Award; Student Life Award; Gender, Race, & Culture Award; Peace Award; Humanitarian Award; and Community Service Award. All nominations, including a personal statement describing the special traits or characteristics that make the nominee a good candidate for the award, must be submitted online at https://bit.ly/2mVsMak. At least one letter of recommendation is required for each nomination and must be emailed to VPSA@qc.cuny.edu. The nomination deadline is Friday, May 15.
