Dear Student Affairs Family:
I wanted to take a moment to once again thank you all for being so wonderfully understanding, flexible, caring, and hard-working during this very difficult time. I feel
truly honored every day to be able to work with this incredible team.
I also wanted to let you know that in a few minutes you will be getting a QC Mailer from President Tramontano indicated that QC is
closed tomorrow and Friday. This is due to two new confirmed cases of Coronavirus on campus we just learned of. Although campus is closed, all distance instruction and student services will continue. So, these are not days off as a normal closing
would be; these are days that the provision of distance instruction and student services will and must continue. As such, the telecommuting and service continuation plans drafted by your department leaders will be in full effect starting tomorrow, and through
the rest of the Spring 2020 semester.
I hope this makes sense, but please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns about this. I am very much looking forward to the day that we
can all return to campus and gather as a team to celebrate getting through this unusual time. Remember to take care of yourselves first, then take care of your loved ones. Also, I highly recommend you check in with each other on as regular a basis as possible.
