Subject: CUNYfirst Database Maintenance Reminder: CUNYfirst unavailable for up to 77 hours starting tonight at 6:00 pm.

CIS will be conducting CUNYfirst database maintenance starting at 6:00 pm tonight and ending Sunday night, February 16 at 11:00 pm. This database maintenance work will migrate the Campus Solutions and Human Resources data from the current single database into separate databases.

We want to remind you of the following:

· At 6:00 pm tonight, the CUNYfirst System will lock out all students, faculty and staff users even if they are already logged in. All users must complete and save their CUNYfirst work before 6:00 pm.

· CUNYfirst will remain unavailable during the database maintenance. We are targeting to have all CUNYfirst systems available by 11:00 pm on Sunday, February 16.

· Only CUNYfirst is unavailable during this maintenance. Other CUNY-wide applications, such as Blackboard, remain available through the CUNY Login page.

· During the time CUNYfirst is unavailable, CUNYfirst MyInfo, CUNYsmart, Reporting and all test and development systems will be up and running.

· The last MyInfo, i951 file, CUNYsmart, and Reporting Instance data refresh from CUNYfirst, before this database maintenance, took place last night (Wednesday, February 12).

· The last 805 file data refresh from CUNYfirst, before this maintenance, has been scheduled to complete before 5:00 pm today (Thursday, February 13).

· The nightly MyInfo, 805 file, i951 file, CUNYsmart and Reporting Instance data refreshes from CUNYfirst restart Monday night, February 17.
