Our second active shooter presentation by the NYPD is scheduled for April 15, 2015.

In recent years, colleges across the country have unfortunately experienced active shooter incidents. Queens College is working with the New York Police Department to ensure that our community is as prepared as possible to handle such an event.

The NYPD will address this topic in a presentation on Wednesday, April 15, from noon to 1:30 pm, in Rosenthal Library 230. Information provided in this session will be specific to our setting. All student, faculty and staff are invited to attend. 

Supervisors and managers are asked to encourage their staff to attend this presentation, which will be considered part of their work day. Please reach out to the Office of Human Resources if you have questions or concerns related to this session.
