With the start of the Fall 2015 semester quickly approaching, we are preparing for our seventh year at the Summit Apartments. We are looking forward to yet another new academic year with exciting opportunities for our residential community at Queens College.  The staff have been working hard with numerous upgrades over the summer to enhance the residential experience including new living room furniture (sofas and chairs) and enhanced Wi-Fi internet!

"Move-in Day" for our residential students living in the Summit Apartments is Tuesday, August 25^th. For many of the students moving in, this will be a first-time experience as they move out of their parents' homes and move into a new community. We are seeking volunteers to assist in greeting families, checking in students, and helping students move belongings into their rooms. (The latter being the service the families most appreciate and remember!)

Volunteers will be needed between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. We would like to schedule two shifts (7:30am to 12:00noon and 11:00am to 3:30pm), but any amount of time you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Please register your intent to volunteer by emailing your hours of availability to housing@qc.cuny.edu by Monday, August 17^th. 

Again, we truly appreciate any help you can offer in making Move-in Day at Summit Apartments as successful as possible!
