Please see below a reminder about how to submit your events for This Week at QC, the Queens College website calendar, and social media promotion. This email was
originally sent on Monday, January 25 before the semester began. We very much appreciate the volume of submissions we have been receiving for virtual events that will take place this semester. We encourage you to review the submission deadlines so you can
be sure your events are publicized appropriately.

As our campus community adjusted to our new “virtual” reality last semester, many meaningful and educational programs were organized and held on virtual platforms.
Our office was pleased to partner with you to get the word out about these programs and support your efforts to provide valuable content to our community.
We anticipate that this trend will continue in the Spring 2021 semester as Queens College courses remain 99% online. The best way to submit your information for
publicity is via the Events Submission Form. To access it, go to
www.qc.cuny.edu/pages/calendar.aspx and click on "Submit Event" (requires MyQC login). Various staff members in our office have access to this content and are assigned to handle different types of communication
requests.

To have your events listed on the QC calendar, check off "Post to QC Web Calendar."

To have information about your event emailed to faculty/staff and/or students, check off one or both "This Week at QC" selections.
This Week at QC will again be sent out each Monday this semester. Please keep in mind the submission deadline of Thursday at noon for the following Monday’s This Week at QC.

To have your event shared on social media, check off "Social Media."

We will not be posting slides on digital signage this semester.
By using this form, you can be sure that your events will be shared with a wide audience.
