SEEKING Students for a great opportunity!!! I know you're a busy person so I will keep it brief. A student recently came to me about the use of the "N" word being used on campus. I know issues like these where racial microaggressions are used and you have to mediate add additional work to your plate. Currently CERRU, is offering a fellowship to help students self-mediate issues and advocate for themselves as it relates to issues of race, ethnicity and class. Do you have any students you think would be a good fit for our work? Are there any leaders you think this would support? It's a 10 week fall fellowship that meets on mondays and wednesdays during free hour. Deadline Friday, May 17th Please forward this application to students who you think would be fitting<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfmx1r5sgC_FhSWdV7K6J6FPRiNpZ64n0thUm7wH0B2Ofs7fQ/viewform?usp=sf_link> Hope your semester is going well, -- Aysa Gray (Pronounced: Asia, Spelled: A-Y-S-A) Director of Fellowships and Trainings Center for Ethnic, Racial, and Religious Understanding at Queens College (CERRU) Office: Delany Hall, Room 217 Phone: 561-315-6048<tel:718-570-0482> Just remember your real work is to free yourself in ways that don't violate others...
