I am writing to encourage you to review--and, if necessary, to update or add--your self-identification information in CUNYfirst by March 8, especially information concerning your race/ethnicity, veteran status, and any disability that you wish to disclose.
This allows Queens College to communicate an accurate picture of our workforce, establish our eligibility for federal and other funding, and determine which areas we have been successful in diversifying--and where we need to do more work.
Please know that your participation is strictly voluntary. It has no impact on your employment. When reported, this information is summarized and does not identify anyone individually.
Updating your profile takes only a minute or two. Here's how to do it through the CUNYfirst Employee Self Service portal:

Sign in to CUNYfirst at
https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu/oam/Portal_Login1.html

Under the CUNYfirst Menu in the upper left-hand corner, choose HR/Campus Solutions.

In the menu on the new page, choose Self Service.

Then choose Personal Information, which will take you to a page where you can update your ethnic group, veteran status, and disability information.

Be sure to Save/Submit any change you make in order to record it.
If you do not have access to CUNYfirst's Employee Self Service or need help
to record your responses, please contact or visit Human Resources at 718-997-4455, Kiely Hall, Room 163.
Again, thank you for reviewing and, where it is not currently available, including your updated self-identification information in the CUNYfirst
system. This effort will help assure that our profile is as complete as possible.
