We hope that you are well and ready to start the Fall 2020 semester. As you prepare your agendas and update your calendar for the semester, we wish to advise you about some important
dates/deadlines for the Fall semester.

The last day for you to adjust your registration via self-service in CUNYfirst is Tuesday,
September 1st. After this date all registrations must first be approved by the academic department who will forward the request to the QC HUB. Visit the department(s) directly for approval.

Deadline for Declaration of Major is Tuesday, September 1st. Any approved Declaration of Major form received after
this date will be effective Spring 2021.

Faculty will be collecting attendance information during the first few weeks of the semester. Please be sure to alert faculty of your attendance.

No classes are scheduled on the following days:

Monday, September 7th

Friday-Sunday, September 18th- September 20th

Monday, September 28th

Academic Withdrawal deadline is Thursday, November 5th. Please be aware that you may have a financial aid liability if you
withdraw, so you should consult the QC Hub for information.

Reminder that Tuesday, September 29th follows a Monday class schedule.

Reminder that the college is closed on the following dates:

Monday, October 12th

Thursday–Sunday, November 26th-November 29th

Final exams will start on Monday, December 14th and end on Sunday,
December 20th.
