This application will replace the current paper timesheet used by full-time employees and will bring the college in compliance with the bi-weekly recording of time and leave for all full time staff as required by the City University of New York Central Office. In order to ensure a smooth rollout of the HRAssist system, all outstanding timesheets for months that precede August 2015 must be received in the OHR Time and Leave Unit no later than August 26, 2015. All August 2015 timesheets must be received in the OHRTime and Leave Unit on time, no later than September 4, 2015. These deadlines must be met so that when the HRAssist system is turned on, your time and leave balances will be accurately reflected. Training opportunities are being planned for employees and supervisors. We will notify you as soon as the schedule is available. HRAssist has a number of advantages, such as: * It is a fully automated, web-based application that can be accessed from any computer at any time * Employees (full-time) will now be able to submit their timesheets online * Employees will be able to submit leave requests electronically for supervisory review and approval * Supervisors will receive email notifications when timesheets require their approval * Accurate and up-to-date accrual balances will be available 24/7 for employee and supervisor viewing * Supports our campus "green initiative" by saving paper.
