Good day everyone!
I hope all are well. A friendly reminder to everyone that today is
National Voter Registration Day. If you are a campus community member who knows someone not registered to vote, and if they are interested, please have them contact me via email: emanuel.avila@qc.cuny.edu. My office can guide those interested on how
to prepare for the upcoming elections.
Also, students that are not registered, and would like to fill out a form, can do so via their CUNY First Account. Within that platform, students can fill out and print
a form. Students should then send their completed forms to the New York City Board of Elections.
The last day to register for the General Election is
October 8, 2021. Early voting begins on October 23, 2021, and concludes on October 31, 2021. The General Election is
November 2, 2021. Registered voters will have the opportunity to elect new leadership this year.
This year, voters will be able to vote for a new Mayor, Comptroller, Public Advocate, City Council, and Borough Presidents.
Don't forget to have your voices heard this
November 2, 2021.
