We have gotten off to a good start with the online evaluations this year, with more than 9000 completed so far. Evaluations started on November 17, and will continue through Thursday, December 15. Please take the time to encourage students to contribute evaluations for all of the courses they're taking. These evaluations (the comments in particular) are useful in assessing the impact of faculty teaching, and are also part of the supporting materials used for purposes of reappointment, tenure, and promotion. They are also used by students to make decisions about what courses to take. Students who complete all their evaluations will receive $15 credit for printing on their QCard. Students should go to http://www.qc.cuny.edu/evaluate For more information about where to view data and comments from previous semesters, to keep track of this semester's response rate, and to learn about the incentives students get for evaluating their courses, go to http://qc.cuny.edu/?id=M5VB.
