The next Academic Senate meeting will be held this Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 3:35 p.m. in-person in Kiely Hall, room 170 (Dave Fields Lecture Hall).
Please make every effort to attend this meeting as, in addition to new curricular items, a Resolution in Support of Mutual Defense of Academic Freedom, Institutional Autonomy, and Shared Governance will be presented for discussion (page 64 of the PDF). Chief Information Office and AVP Troy J. Hahn will also be at the meeting to answer questions about the QC ITS Report on the Queens College Websites and Server Outage (pages 56-63).
The Senate material and agenda are attached/below for your review.
Please note that there will be two sessions. The first one will be the LAST meeting of the 2024-2025 Senate. The second one will be the FIRST meeting of the 2025-2026 Senate and will begin immediately following.
