Help clients even more by bringing nutrition education to the table. Change the conversation when discussing dietary protocol with clients. Instead of educating them on what they need to limit or "can't have" per diagnosis protocol, empower them with foods they CAN eat and healthy cooking techniques that can be utilized at home to prepare flavorful food. Bridge the gap of nutrition education with what clients understand about food.
Earn 7.5 CEU's and attend these hands-on culinary nutrition workshops covering the following topics:
Cooking for: The Aging Population - Nov. 7 Diabetes - Nov. 14 Digestive Disorders - Dec. 5 Heart Disease - Dec. 12 Note: We will be following COVID-19 protocol as per New York safety guidelines.
What attendees are saying about attending these workshops:
"This class reinvigorated me to start having more fun in the kitchen again. As professionals, it's easy to get caught in the same rut as our patients by making the same recipes over and over again. Now, I know more easy, quick and tasty recipes to make and pass onto patients!"
"I love the flow of the workshop, preparing our meals to support the theme, added to the great overall learning experience. I will definitely do more workshops with Abbie and Julie!"
"It was really great to get some hands-on cooking exposure. I think actual cooking time and working with food is vital for the profession. Many educational nutrition programs lack the exposure to the kitchen that I think is important in teaching people how to eat better. If more RDs were versed in the culinary arts I think it would have a greater impact and improve people's eating habits. Most people want to eat healthy and nutritious foods but don't know how to make these meals. Creating more workshops such as this to instruct RDs to teach the public about the wonders of making a healthy meal will go a long way in changing health behaviors." <https://gmail.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=3532f5bc9c1ce08311d014826&id=7d462e88a0&e=403307147a> Copyright © 2020 Culinary Nutrition Workshops, All rights reserved.
