​ Our first upcoming virtual open house will be on 10/14 from 12P-1P PST. We will have 3 other opportunities for students to join a virtual open house for UCSF dietetic internship and the flyer is attached with those options. The session will include a presentation on the internship learning experiences and the internship application process with time for a Q&A. We offer a challenging one-year dietetic internship program with a Nutrition Therapy emphasis in a dynamic teaching medical center environment. The internship includes experiences under the supervision of Registered Dietitians in clinical nutrition, management, and nutrition counseling and education. Interns work in all areas of inpatient clinical nutrition including medicine, surgery, organ transplantation, pediatrics, and critical care. Management experiences are completed in our room service food program under the supervision of clinical nutrition managers and food service managers. Experiences in nutrition counseling and education take place at adult and pediatric UCSF ambulatory care practices, the Mount Zion Adult Dialysis Center, the UCSF Diabetes Teaching Center, and an off-site community food/nutrition program or agency in the San Francisco Bay Area.
