The annual Dietetic Internship Preparation Workshop (DIPW) and Fair is coming up in October and is being held in a new way this year. DIPW and Fair is an event put on by dietetic students at Texas A&M for other dietetic students around Texas every year. We have a few registered dietitians from different practices speak in sessions with small groups of students. The fair portion includes a variety of dietetic internship booths for students to learn more about certain programs that they may be interested in. However, due to COVID-19, our DIPW committee is holding the event virtually. This allows us to broaden our scope of students beyond the Texas borders.
This year, we, the DIPW 2020 Co-Directors, are excited to be able to invite you to register and attend this event on October 3, 2020! There will be six registered dietitian speakers as well as several Dietetic Internship programs from across the US presenting in a virtual fair. This is a great learning opportunity as you get to hear from dietitians who are advanced in their field. The fair creates a great networking opportunity as well, since you will be able to speak with interns or the dietetic internship directors themselves.
Early registration costs $5 and ends September 12th. Late registration costs $10 and is open September 13th-20th. You can register on the DIPW website, which is linked below.
