Sodexo, the world’s leading private employer of RDNs, proudly offers a dietetic internship where future nutrition professionals can continue their education in diverse and rewarding ways. We’re looking for talented interns who wish to pursue a career with Sodexo after completing the internship. To learn about the application process and find out what we’re looking for in an intern, join one of our
open houses.
Locations/PreceptorsTo better serve our interns, we have de-centralized and regionalized our internship locations, which gives more access to geographic options and flexibility when choosing where to complete the supervised practice. Once accepted to the internship program, internship faculty arranges the clinical and foodservice management rotation placements within Sodexo-managed accounts. We will make every effort to accommodate your location needs.
JobsIf you apply and get matched with us, our goal is to retain you as a Sodexo employee. Upon graduation from the internship, Sodexo will have numerous dietitian positions available nationwide.
Master’s OptionAccepted interns may elect to apply to an accelerated master’s program through our partnership with the University of Rhode Island. The master’s program is an
online, non-thesis Master of Science degree in Dietetics that is completed within 14 months in conjunction with the supervised practice. All students are eligible for federal student loans to cover the cost of the MS, internship tuition, and living expenses.
8 Concentration OptionsWe are pleased to offer a choice of eight concentrations to provide interns with an opportunity for an in-depth experience in an area of interest. 160 hours of supervised practice in your chosen concentration, plus our tailored assignments and projects, will offer you a rewarding and individualized experience.
