Registered Dietitian, Per Diem, The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing
The Hamptons Center is seeking a Per Diem Registered Dietitian. Located on nine acres at the entrance to the historic Village of Southampton, The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a state-of-the-art, 280-bed skilled nursing facility and short-term
rehabilitation center with a diverse patient population. The RD will conduct initial, annual and quarterly assessments (including evaluation of current diet interventions and recommendations/changes as necessary), provide nutrition education and counseling
to patients and family members, participate in care plan meetings, complete MDS assessments in a timely and accurate manner, and complete other assigned duties. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, and be a certified
RD/RDN from the Commission on Dietetic Registration. MDS, SigmaCare and Gerimenu experience preferred, however, training may be provided to interested candidates that demonstrate a willingness to learn. Candidates should be very detail-oriented, flexible,
and compassionate and caring to our residents, as they are our number one priority.
Weekend availability and time management skills are a must.

Registered Dietitian, Ellenville Regional Hospital, per diem
Duties: Responsible for the nutritional management of patients. Evaluates and/or supervises the evaluation of the nutritional status of the patients and consults with Medical Staff to ensure diet orders are appropriate based on patient diagnosis. Provides
nutritional education for inpatients requiring therapeutic modifications to the diet. Provides nutritional education counseling for outpatients and community education programs. Reviews and revises patient menus with Dietary Department and Medical Director.
Hours: Per Diem
Salary: $30.00-36.00 per hour, with increments based on experience
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, Registered Dietitian

Pediatric Food Allergy: Nutrition and Care for IgE and Non-IgE-Mediated Food Allergies
This comprehensive 9-month course will cover the prevention, diagnosis and management of IgE and non-IgE-mediated pediatric food allergies. Upon successful completion, dietitians will be prepared to provide up-to-date and evidence-based care and medical nutrition
therapy to pediatric food allergy patients, hold a FARE Certificate of Training in Pediatric Food Allergy and earn 32 CPEs from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Marion Groetch, MS, RDN and Carina Venter, PhD, RD will use a variety of learning and teaching methods, including but not limited to live, online lectures, group work and practical case studies to meet individual learning needs and enable a shared learning
