Job Description:
As a bariatric dietitian you will complete nutrition assessments for new patients joining the practice as well as established patients. You will also conduct individual counseling sessions with both pre- and post-operative patients, as well as non-surgical
patients, who need assistance with achieving their weight loss goals and guidance through our program. The dietitian will also be responsible for updating current nutritional aids and creating new materials, as well as assisting with patient support groups.
Requirements:
Must be RD
Education: BS in Food and Nutrition
Experience: 1+ years of professional experience.
Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Be reliable and organized.

This position provides nutrition care for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit inpatients in a 75-bed Level IV NICU, and is under the direction of the Food and Nutrition Department of Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian. Responsibilities include
parenteral and enteral nutrition, precepting dietetic interns, projects and research.
