Hi club members, Thank you to all those who came to today's meeting with speaker Megan Connolly, MS, RD. Megan gave us so much information on eating disorders, disordered eating habits, and what it's like to be a Dietitian working with eating disorder patients. Our next club meeting is going to be held on Monday, November 22nd with Professor Westfal for a student run discussion! We will have more information on that later this week. I also just wanted to remind everyone about Club Elections! Most of our Current E-Board is graduating and we need some club members to step up and take their positions! Here is a small description of each position available: *President: *Host all club meetings and reach out to potential speakers. Speakers will communicate with you directly throughout the semester. Create and keep track of the club schedule, create flyers and forms for all events. Work with the secretary to create email blasts throughout the week. Speak with the social media chair weekly to post about upcoming events. Stay informed on QC budget meetings and schedules. Oversee all aspects of the club. *Vice President: *Reaching out to potential speakers and inviting them to speak at the club. Helping all board members and stepping in for the president when needed. *Treasurer duties: *monitoring the student organization's budget; completing an annual financial report for the student organization; tending to the status of all purchase requests. You will be asked to assist the president in reaching out to potential speakers and inviting them to speak with the club, attend any mandatory CCP meetings, and other duties assigned throughout the semester. *Social Media Chair duties: *This position needs a tech-savvy individual who will post on our Instagram and Facebook. Experience with CANVA is a plus! You will help maintain brand and consistency. Work with the board to ensure publicity for all meetings and important dates. Develop weekly content related to our field. You will work closely with the President and this position is fairly hands-on.
